       It's Official ! John is your 2026 Republican Candidate for District D - 06/24/2026 


Wow... just wow... to say that we are proud of our brother is the understatement of the year! John has worked tirelessly on this campaign and he has showed up everywhere, every time even before his last run at this in 2022. John is sincerely just one of the best people we know - ok we may be a little bias but.... John was once called "the salt of the earth" during this campaign and I could not agree more. "To be the "salt of the earth" means to be a genuinely good, honest, humble, and dependable person. The phrase is a high compliment used to describe someone who is unpretentious and consistently reliable." AND THAT IS EXACTLY WHO HE IS ! John shows up for his customers, shows up for his family, and now he will be able to show up for his county!

     I, as a candidate, 4 years ago stood up for Perryman. I appreciate your organization and hard work as a grassroots organization to demand that local government listen to their constituents and do what is best for the whole community and not just some. I look forward to serving District-D and indirectly all of Harford County. Land rights are to be respected but not at the detriment of surrounding communities.

       Busy week attending events for our fine Republican candidates! Remember to vote for our council, school board and state delegate and senator candidates Raj Goel and Elliott Herneker. Also caught up with my favorite late model driver, my nephew, Doug Barnes Jr. Air Doug!

        Attended the 9-11 Remembrance ceremony at the Equestrian center this morning. Very moving service.Hard to believe it has been 25 years ago. Then went to Mission Barbecue for lunch. Appreciate all this business does for our vets and first responders!Reflecting on my own life back then I remember how Diane and I had 2 small children and how concerned we were about their future and safety. I guess as a nation we were in collective shock and grief. I wanted to join the military and serve up a big serving of ass whooping! But reality sunk in that I had to be responsible and continue to run my business and help raise our children. I have been greatly blessed. Having raised 3 beautiful children and I’ve had a very fulfilling life.I appreciate this opportunity to serve our community. I pray that we all cherish this brief and precious gift of life. LOVE THOSE YOU CAN WHILE YOU CAN! 

         NEVER FORGET!
